Cutest Tatty Teddy!

Hugh's girlfriend, Sarah, bought Alice this little Tatty Teddy snow suit before she was born and this week she was able to wear it :)  It is so soft and cuddly and Alice looked so cute in it.  The snow suit is for 3 - 6 month olds but, although a little bit big, it fits her much better than the 0 - 3 month one. Can you believe she was 10 weeks old yesterday!
Our beautiful Tatty Teddy ;o)
 Love that little tongue
(I've put quite a few new photos on Facebook for those who are friends with me.)
When I took the rubbish out today, I noticed the first signs of new life in the garden. The crocuses are starting to come through - yippee!! I love when this happens as it makes me think that Spring is just round the corner (in my mind, it is!!).
Can't wait to see some colour in the garden again, this makes me very happy!!

On that note, I hope you have a wonderful weekend :)

A few photos from today :)

Claire bought a couple of toy boxes for Alice's toys today and while she was sorting through them, Alice was lying on a quilt enjoying seeing what she's got ;o)  Bunny was one of her favourites (to eat!) but she also enjoyed the toys that rattle or have bells in them. She's such a little cutie pie and when she smiles, we all melt! Can you tell she's got us all wrapped round her little finger??

Love you, little one :) xx

Not the healthiest of households

We've not had the healthiest of households for the past week but fortunately, Alice seems to have come through it all unaffected. We're slowly getting back to normal and will hopefully start doing something worth blogging about :).  In the meantime, some more photos of Alice and her Mummy and Daddy.

Her neck is definitely getting stronger and she spent a bit of time leaning on her cushion before finally having had enough (below).

Absent for a while

Just dropping in quickly to let you know I'm still here.  I'm in the process of going through the house room by room, bookcase by bookcase and cupboard by cupboard.  It's taking time but it feels good to be getting rid of some of the clutter. I've still got a way to go so posts will probably be thin on the ground for a little while. We're hoping to get a skip in by the end of this week/beginning of next week and I think I'll feel so much better when the clutter is gone. So, please be patient with me, I'll be back with (hopefully) more interesting posts soon.
It's a baby's life in this house at the moment ;o), who could resist that little face!

Out for the count! Today the only way she wanted to sleep was on someone. She wasn't very happy but tonight she's fast asleep and looks like a little angel!

More baby smiles and a resolution (perhaps!)

These next few photos are just because Alice is so cute!! If you're getting fed up with looking at baby photos you might be better off coming back another day ;o)

As for the resolution part - I don't normally make resolutions at all because I never keep them. This year however, I would like to go down a dress size by the end of the year. I started back at Weight Watchers at the beginning of September last year wanting to lose a stone before Alice was born. I was close! I finally lost my first stone the week after Alice was born. I then fell off the wagon a bit as life was fairly hectic with a baby in the house and I stopped going to Weight Watchers.
Last night, however, I went back to face the music and it wasn't as bad as I had thought - I'd put on 3.5 pounds since the end of November.   Now I have to get back in the right mindset, I need to take the time to read through the new ProPoints diet and start tracking again. I couldn't get my head round the new ProPoints in November which was one of the reasons I stopped going but I need to now climb on board.

I went down one dress size when I lost the stone but realise it may take me a bit more to go down another dress size. I'm not in a hurry, I just want to feel better in myself and hopefully at the same time start exercising more and become a bit fitter. I had been walking Cloud each day but when the snow arrived, that stopped too so it's time to get back to getting out each day. I don't know that I'll post about it regularly but by putting it out here I'll feel more accountable and hopefully by the end of the year, you may see a difference if I post a photo of myself ;o)

Now to go and start reading through the programme ready for my start tomorrow!

Still here :)

Trying to get the house tidied up again (though think I may well be ordering a skip for next week), decorations came down this afternoon and have been put back in the loft. Still a lot more to do but I'm feeling a little bit more relaxed again.
Alice is giving us lots of smiles and "talks" to us - so cute!! You forget what time wasters babies can be :)
This afternoon she was hanging out with Aunty Em
 Very serious
Such a little sweetie, you just have to look at that little face and everything seems all right! We are so lucky to have the chance to spend so much time with her -  being a Grandma rocks!!
