Today I've been ....

Working on my "to do" list.

Six months of filing done and put away. One less thing to worry about! One step closer to relaxing and reading books :)Enjoying the last few flowers on my orchid. Most of them are now losing their flowers (after a number of months) and it could be a while before they bloom again. Taking photographs because I feel like it. Tom is always a good subject, I love his markings and he's very photogenic ;)

I'm working my way through the "Brothers & Sisters" TV series and really enjoying it. We're now on Season 3 - not sure what season is the current one but I think there's still a Season 4 box set to go :)

Family

Yesterday was Martin's funeral. It was very emotional and extremely moving, he was loved by so many people and the crematorium was packed. Martin did one last thing, he brought all his siblings back together again. It's the first time in a long time they've all been in one place at the same time and it was good to see everyone; I just wish it could have been under happier circumstances. And because we never know when the next time they'll all be together again will be, I was asked to take a couple of photos.

Working from home

Yesterday Jon got to work from home. As he says, not many people get to have their office out in the garden from time to time. Nothing he likes better - he doesn't have to do the commute and gets to sit in the sunshine.

I asked Emily if I could take a photo of her for my tag book post for today and this is the best I got! Getting her to just look up above Mac's head was difficult enough - I took what I could get and left it at that :) Sorry Amy, they don't necessarily get any more co-operative as they get older ;)
