Wednesday 14 March 2012 : This evening Emily made some chocolate brownies to take in for a cake sale at school tomorrow. She had never made brownies before but wanted to give it a go, so I stepped back and was just there to supervise. They've turned out very well and I know one of her friends in particular is looking forward to getting her hands on some tomorrow :)
Tuesday 13 March 2012 : The day seemed to go by so quickly yesterday so it was nice to be able to go in to the garden in the late afternoon and enjoy the last of the sunshine. Our days have been quite mild this week; though they start out grey and cloudy in the morning, the afternoons have been lovely. I'm looking forward to another warm day tomorrow :)

Mmm...a brownie sounds pretty good right about now! Your yard looks gorgeous - I'd love to curl up and read a book (and eat a brownie!) on that lawn! :)

ReplyDeleteYour backyard is looking so lovely. We've been having mild days as well, and Tracy has done a lot of yard clean-up, but it will be awhile before ours looks this good.
