59 Years

My Mum and Dad have been married for 59 years today :)

They were married in 1953, the year of the Queen's coronation, so next year will be their Diamond Wedding Anniversary. In this day and age, I think that's a wonderful achievement and I have a feeling we'll be having some sort of celebration of our own next year!

Happy Anniversary

Today my Mum and Dad celebrate 57 years of marriage! What an achievement :o)

We went round this afternoon and had tea and cake with them and had a lovely afternoon chatting. Three more years and it'll be their Diamond Wedding Anniversary and I'm sure that would have to mean "Party Time!!" - what do you think ;o)
