HELLO Monday

HELLO to Megan being 6 months old tomorrow (Tuesday).
HELLO to taking Mum for her hospital eye appointment.
HELLO to making a start on clearing space in the garage for Norma's shipment arriving soon.
HELLO to (hopefully) starting to sew the quilt I have waiting.
HELLO to no more school for Emily till September.
HELLO to hopefully starting on my summer reading :)
HELLO to quieter days ahead.

Emily's Prom

Today is Emily's Prom and we spent the afternoon at her friend, Natalie's house as the four friends got dressed together.  Emily, Charlotte, Natalie and Ella have been friends most of their Senior School years and it was fun to listen to them banter with each other as they got dressed.  I took over 130 photos but have edited a few to put up tonight. There may be more over the next few days.

 An hour before the girls were due to go to the school to catch their buses, another four friends arrived and we took a few more photos.

I will be staying up till 12.30am to go and pick Emily up again. I really hope they had a lovely evening.

Hugh is 25!

Today is Hugh's 25th birthday! Where did the years go?

I thought I'd just share a few photos of him through the years. It's been interesting looking through the years and seeing the changes.  In the later years it's been more the change in hair styles, piercings and tattoos. I could have put in loads more but I thought I'd better not.

Brooke Alexis (our newest family member)

A week ago today we welcomed the latest member of our family.  My niece, Theresa, gave birth to Brooke Alexis - a little sister for Tyler and Alyssa.

 Unfortunately, she was taken into the Special Care Baby Unit but, I'm happy to say, she is fine and is now home with her family.

 On Sunday afternoon Norma and I were able to go round and meet her for the first time.  She is tiny and one of the most alert babies I've seen for her age!

She looks intently at whoever is holding her - almost like she's trying to work out who is who ;-)

 Theresa is glad to be home and Tyler and Alyssa are happy to have their Mummy and baby sister back.
