Hello Monday

I know I'm very unpredictable with my posts at the moment but I'm afraid that's life. Emily is on holiday and we are busy (nothing super exciting but day to day busy). So, I'm not going to say I'll be posting more regularly or anything like that, just that when I get the chance I'll pop in and post but for now blogging is taking a bit of a back seat.  That said, on with Hello Monday :)

HELLO to breakfast at Starbucks with Claire, Alice, Megan and Norma before shopping.

HELLO to making a Key Lime Pie to take to a friend's tomorrow.

HELLO to quilting with friends.

HELLO to planting up my tomato plants.

HELLO to visiting a friend I haven't seen in far too long!

HELLO to Norma going to teach a lesson on Wednesday and being assessed for a permanent teaching post                  (Please keep her in your thoughts).

HELLO to Norma's furniture arriving from South Africa on Thursday.

HELLO to hopefully getting more of Megan's (and Alice's) quilts done.

HELLO to seeing a great-niece who's down from Scotland.

HELLO to spending time with family.

HELLO to what looks like, lots more SUNSHINE!

Hello Monday

HELLO to the start of July.
HELLO to baking cakes today (tick).
HELLO to a trip to Windsor.
HELLO to attending the meeting about Sixth Form (Emily starts in September).
HELLO to Emily's contact lens fitting appointment.
HELLO to Claire deciding if she's going back to work.
HELLO to looking after Alice and Megan :)
HELLO to more sitting outside to eat lunch - and...
HELLO to more lovely weather, please!!!

6 Months

I can't believe Megan is 6 months old already.

Megan is growing day by day and is such a little sweetheart.  She has two teeth and is teething off and on at the moment. She beams when she sees us and her little legs kick wildly.  She is very much a Mummy's girl and watches Claire whenever she is near by. She rolls over and moves from one side of the room to the other and now she's started sitting on her own. She absolutely loves Alice and the two of them together are the cutest! Some of you may have seen the little videos Claire puts on Instagram of Alice reading to Megan in the morning or telling her nursery rhymes. I can't wait to see their relationship develop as they get older.

HELLO Monday

HELLO to Megan being 6 months old tomorrow (Tuesday).
HELLO to taking Mum for her hospital eye appointment.
HELLO to making a start on clearing space in the garage for Norma's shipment arriving soon.
HELLO to (hopefully) starting to sew the quilt I have waiting.
HELLO to no more school for Emily till September.
HELLO to hopefully starting on my summer reading :)
HELLO to quieter days ahead.

I haven't posted photos of Alice and Megan for a while so I thought I'd add them here.  I'll do an update post soon.
