Before doing my Photo of the Day for today I want to say Happy Birthday to Norma.  I miss the fact that we can't be with her on her birthday but I know she knows we're thinking of her and wishing her a wonderful day.  Happy Birthday, Norma xxx

New walking shoes were the order of the day today.  I wish I could say it was because I do so much walking but, in fact, it's because these are about the only shoes that keep my feet warm in winter.  I get terrible chilblains when it's cold so if I'm going out I need to know that my feet are warm.  My last pair had finally given up the ghost and when I saw these on sale it seemed the right time to buy a new pair.
