Achievements

Today's post is supposed to be about things we've achieved in our lives and things we still hope to achieve.

I would like to think that one of my achievements is that we have children who are well grounded and friendly with good manners. Doing my timeline of my life so far brought home to me once again how much we have moved around. Our children could have rebelled but, fortunately, this hasn't been the case. Instead they are children who enjoy being at home and who can talk to us about anything.

One of the things I would love to see in the future is how they continue to grow, to see them achieve their goals and dreams and to watch them become parents themselves one day.

I have been very fortunate in that I haven't had to work for the past 20+ years and have been able to be at home with them when they came home from school and be here for them during the holidays. I do realise how lucky I am and have my husband to thank for that. Right from when I was little the one thing I wanted was to be a Mum and this is a wish I have been, and am, lucky enough to fulfil.

xx

  2. What a special achievement. These days there don't seem to be many who can do that! I have a number of Year 6 kids who find it difficult to talk to their parents.
By the way, you have a great looking bunch! The obviously take after their mother!

The time invested in your children is the most rewarding.
