Today

This morning Claire had a midwife appointment at the local surgery. Their midwife is back from maternity leave and finally, for the last few weeks, Claire will get a chance to build a relationship with her. The first midwife she saw went off sick before her second appointment, she saw a locum for the next two visits and on her last visit she saw someone different again. Hopefully Mandy will see her through to the end of her pregnancy now. As always, the best part of the visit is hearing the baby's heart beat :o)
Outside the surgery. I love the bump shadow on the ground ;o)
I'm trying to get back to eating more healthily and today I made a pasta salad for lunch. Wholemeal pasta, tuna, boiled egg, tomato, cucumber, spring onion and red pepper - it was yummy and filling. After lunch I took Cloud out for a walk. It was sunny today, for what seems like the first time in ages and it was lovely to be outside. Our route tends to take us down a few paths and today I took my camera with me. I love the way some of the trees are starting to change colour and took some photos of them with the sky as a background. The garden of this house has been beautiful all summer. They put a lot of work into it and it's certainly paid off.
Lots of berries on the trees/bushes
It was rubbish day today so the wheelie bins were outside the houses
The rubbish truck
Just to prove Cloud was actually with me ;o)
Heading home
The side of our house
And finally, the last of our sunflowers

  2. This is a great neighbourhood walk that would work well in a compare and contrast layout when you are in the winter season!

Love the bump in the shadow photo :-)

  3. Cloud has a lovely area for his walk! I don't know why, but I haven't made a pasta salad like that all summer. It's one of my favorites, and I just put it on the menu for this weekend.

    Claire looks fabulous!
