Happy Birthday dear Mum, Happy Birthday to You

You may have guessed from the title that it's my Mum's birthday today. I think she's had a good day and I've certainly enjoyed it! First of all Mum, Dad, Jon, Hugh and I went to Wetherspoons for lunch. The food is very nice and the company was excellent!

After lunch I went to Emily's school where I help out on a Friday afternoon. At the moment the children are doing a sewing project and I help when they need it. I always enjoy helping at the school - once I get there!

After school Emily, Faith and I went round to Mum and Dad's for afternoon tea and cake and to give Mum her presents.

This was a DVD Mum had looked at a number of times but never bought herself it. After the presents were opened it was time to blow out the candles and have some cake.

The girls give her a round of applause once the final candle was blown out =o)

It'll be a late evening for me tonight as Claire has work and I have to pick her up at midnight. I take my hat off to her for keeping it up. She just looks forward to being paid on Saturday night.
