Quiet and uneventful

Today I'm missing my sister, Norma, whose birthday it is. I hope you've had a wonderful day Norma, wish we could have celebrated with you. For those who don't know, Norma lives in South Africa and we don't see her nearly as much as we'd like to. :( Today I'm loving the tulips that Jon's sister Debbie gave us for our anniversary. Seeing them in our lounge makes me remember that Spring will come soon! Thank you Deb! Hope you feel better soon.
Today I'm not doing very well with my healthy eating. I had grilled cheese and tomato with Branston pickle for lunch. I haven't had it in ages so I did really enjoy it :)
.
Today I'm glad to say that I've managed to cross a few things off my to do list, but I still need to cross off more.
.
Today I'm looking forward to climbing into my nice comfy warm bed and getting a good sleep!
xx

  2. And what is Branston Pickle? sounds interesting! So you've been following the Wellness Program?? I did for 3 days and then Boyd died and I'm just beginning to eat normally again.

Happy anniversary to you and Jon!
    Hugs,

  4. Thinking of you - it must be extra hard when a family member is celebrating something special and you're far away x

And don't beat yourself up about the occasional treat! Feeling like you have to deny yourself everything is the surest way to fail completely :-)

  5. Not a fan of cheese on toast but love the pickle part!! I like a cheese and pickle sandwich :) Belated birthday wishes to your Sister! THank goodness they sell so many British foods here and we can get all our favourites :) Now if only M & S would reopen!!! ;)
