I know my December Daily isn't terribly Christmas-y at t he moment - we don't normally put the tree up or decorate until 12 days before Christmas. So, in the meantime, I'm using it as a means of just recording our every day life.
Journalling is clear enough for you to read this time so I won't type it out again ;-)Clockwise from top left: Hugh (wearing the beanie) and Max clearing snow; Alice holding Mummy's finger; Alice with Daddy and Mummy; Uncle Hugh fed Alice for the first time.
xx
Apart from the door wreath, we have nothing Christmassy in our house, either. DH leaves this morning for a wek-long overseas business trip, so nothing will happen until he gets back.
ReplyDeleteI have the opposite problem. Lots is Christmasy here, but there isn't a lot of activity to photograph about daily life! Went shopping yesterday and forgot to take any photos! So even when I do have something, I ended up without the photos.
ReplyDeleteYou have plenty of good stuff to record without Christmas! And I think there is a lot to be said for not being ready too early.
ReplyDeleteWe never decorate til 2 weeks before xmas....so this Sunday is our day....under the direction of DD2.....who now insists on colour co-ordination!!
ReplyDeleteLove how the album is coming along, and seeing the pictures of your daughter and grandaughter...I think it was me who may have referred to little Alice as your daughter! Either way she is adorable! I can totally relate to having a new baby in the house right now. My Maggie is two months old tomorrow! Thank God for chubby baby faces! : )
